Log #8

     Finally, I've reached the final (saddest) part of the book. Max was found, which was so sad. He ran for month but was still found, which was kind of like me in the finals week. I tried to run from all the work that must be done, but still ended up doing all of it. I really feel for Liesel. It's like losing a brother for her. I couldn't imagine a day without my sister, let alone losing her. But what's coming was way worse...

     BOMB ATTACK! Rudy was dead, Rosa was dead and last but not least, Hans was dead. It was the saddest moment ever. Liesel was safe because she was writing "The Book Thief"in the basement. Again, books save her. I guess it was all fate. If she hadn't picked up the gravedigger's handbook at the first place, she would have been like this. She would probably die from the attack.

    What was unexpected was, Liesel lived quite long. I thought she's gonna be the first one to die in the foster family at first. But apparently, it wasn't so. She even met again with Max after many, many years. I guess this was....somehow a "happy" ending.
