Voices of Dragons by Carrie Vaughn

    Dragons are my favorite mythical creatures. (Yes, I like them better than unicorns.) During spring break, I went to several libraries to find literature related to dragons and this is what I found most interesting.

    This books contains all the elements I like in a book; friendships, adventure, flying in the sky, hiding secrets, mysterious islands and dragons. Kay Wyatt, the main character, accidentally discovered there were dragons behind the border no one was allowed to cross. Apparently, dragons have always existed! They were even enemies with human a long time ago. Kay and the dragon soon became friends and she visited him regularly to learn how to ride on him. As crazy as it sounds, the dragon even learned how to speak english at the end. Their goal was to work together to make humans friends with dragons. Unfortunately, they failed and ended up escaping to another island, hinting there will be a second book.

    My mission is to find that second book! I would love to know what happens next on their adventure on another island. I look forward to finding it out.
