In presentations on 11/14, the most
impressing presentations for me were:
1.
Kathy : Thirteen Reasons Why.
When I first notice the title of the book, I thought it was an
inspiring book which teaches us how to live out a happy life or something. However,
I was wrong! Kathy used her wonderful skills to take us into the plot of the
story. In her presentation, I understood that the story was about bully. It was
sad to hear this story, but it is also a big issue that we need to focus on. She
definitely convinced me into buying the book!
2.
Jerry: The Hitchhiker's Guide
to The Galaxy
To be honest, I don’t really like books about fiction. However, with
Jerry’s sharing, I changed my mind. I was fascinated by his performance and
that he said that the book is about nothing and everything. At the time when he gave
his comment for the book (which he said “nonsense”), I was so surprised. Since not
many people would give this kind of weird words, Jerry was special. I enjoyed his sharing afterward and I loved his passion for the book.
SYL: What do you mean? Didn't you like Percy Jackson?

3.
Jenny 張 and Fred:
I couldn’t decide which one affected me more, as a result, I would
put them both in my favorites. Both of them related their book to their
lives. The former talked about her impatience to parents or things, and
the latter mentioned martial arts that he used to learn. They both learned a lot from the book they
are reading, and they did know what they are reading. Although it may still be difficult
for me to read the genre they recommend, I am indeed impressed by their
presentation.
