Presentations I like the most

1.      I really liked what Alice shared with the class. She shared about a novel called Still Alice. I think it was very interesting for Alice to pick up a novel which has her name on it and chose it to present it to the class. From her presentation, I learned that the main character Alice is a linguistic professor; she has a great family and having a wonderful life. I feel a bit connected to the novel since the second book I chose to read is by the same author, and I was surprised that how similar the plots are! I think I will take some time (if I have any) to go to the library to take a look at the novel.

2.      I like Cindy Cheng’s sharing as well as the novel. Cindy used a very casual, relaxed tone to introduce her novel to the class and she was wearing the smile on her face all the time. I think it must be been an amazing reading experience for Cindy, and with her telling us about her novel, I really got hooked up by the content of the novel as well… I hope she can lend the novel to me someday.

3.      The third sharing that I liked was Cindy Yeh. Just like her, I was enhanced by the unusual love between a female (who’s in her 30s) and a teenager boy. Later, I found out the story isn’t as simple as I thought it would be; it’s more about Nazi, undercover, history, etc. And I like this type of novels – the darkest time of Second World War, and probably the saddest as well.
