Three presentations I like a lot

After the sharing of my classmates regarded to the books they have read, I was impressed by three of them.

Alice chose a book called Still Alice. I don't know if Alice chose this one for the title of the book contains her name. No matter what , Alice in my class has successfully narrated the plot of the novel. The book is about a woman, Alice, she used to be a successful woman until one day she was diagnosed of Alzheimer's disease, and suddenly she has to adapt to the great change in her life. Alice shared two quotes with us, and she said she preferred the part of family and self-journey the most.

Then is Jerry. He's novel is called The Hitchhiker's Guide to The Galaxy. He had recommend this book to me about a few months ago, but I was too bust to read it. The book used a funny way to tell us the true meaning of life, and Jerry narrated clearly about the plot and used a politician as representative of one of the main characters. In this way, we were able to understand the basic plot of the novel even before we read it.

Last but no the least, Jenny Cheng also impressed me a lot. She was the first speaker. She mentioned that she seldom reads books, and participating in this course makes her force herself to read. She has finished three books so far, and if she calls it insufficient amount of reading, then I should go back home and start to introspect myself.

I think all of them did a great job of sharing and reflecting what they have learnt while reading the books. I know I am really busy recently, sometimes I don't even have time for having meals, but after their sharing I was ignited to raise my interest of reading books. I am looking forward to taste the sense of joy from reading when I am able to have my own leisure time.

SYL: We are all busy! But isn't it a shame that we are busy for things that may pass without a trace at the expense of a great chance for us to grow mature and intelligent?
