    I know every couple expects to have a blessing and romantic love. However, in reality, it is impossible for every couple to reach it. In the Notebook, the couple experienced such obstacle. This book shows the readers how their love can be ageless and timeless, which is one of the reasons that I pick this. Another reason is that I have heard the author's name many times, and I want to get more into the author's imagination.      

     Have you ever experienced that your parents were opposed to your relationship with someone? If you say, "Yes," it is undoubted that you know how heart-broken it was.  But if not, try to imagine the following situation. One night, your friends invited you to a movie. You would never think of that you would meet a man who was in your very taste. He was charming and fabulous, dressed casual but not sloppy, and behaved as a gentleman with a radiant smile, as if he was an angle to be here rescuing your awful life. On top of that, he was so humorous that you couldn't help but laugh heartily all the night with him. Both of you almost fell in love at the first glance. You two even could visualize your future with each other. However, it was time for you to meet both sides of parents. His/her parents didn't like you due to the inequality of the two families. All you two could do was separate with each other without any contact. 

    After ten years, you got a rare chance to be in touch with your true love. It seemed that despite ten years your love had never stopped and your heart had started to beat. You still loved the way he/she was.You two were fell in love again. Moreover, this time no one could separate your endless love.

    If you can imagine the situation mentioned above, and you feel the plot touching. Then I guess you will love this novel. What's more, the author is good at plotting and describing. So when you read it, you will feel like you are in the romantic story. Also, at the end of this book, you will find out this book was written by the male lead because his wife was suffering dementia. To make his wife recall their faithful love, he would read it for her over and over again 'til he couldn't tell the story anymore...
