Recently, I have quitted my job and it made
me started to think about myself.
Actually, my job was busy but easy which
was helping students to do their homework correctly, supervising review by
them, and giving them quizzes. Although, I was strict with them I never
insulted them. The reason I quitted is the boss in this foundation. As she got into the classroom, she would look
for the student who was distracted and started to insult him or her in front of
the other students. I didn’t appreciate with her behaviors because I thought
she was bullying a child.
I started to think why I chose to quit the
job because she didn’t embarrass me. I thought what she did was violating my value.
I believe that the love is the most important element of rising them up. In my
family, my academic performance is much better than my younger brother’s. Although,
he was suffering from stress and anxiety which were from relatives and my
parents I didn’t think he need to follow my steps. When facing college entrance
examination, he felt so nervous that he talked to me to get something could
help him. I just told him that choosing what he likes and just did it. And the
whole family would support him forever. Because no matter how his grades are,
he is always my brother. In the end, he achieved his goal. Never frustrate
learner and stand by him or her. This is my principle about being a teacher.
This is how I responded to my kid, no matter how difficult he feels with school, he is my child, the most precious gift from God that I would never want to swap for anyone else. And being different is GREAT! If you understand that individual difference is a constant in any class and respect their differences, you will become a great teacher!
