The Girl On The Train
Megan was found! Finally Megan was found in the woods. As the finding of the dead body, Scott became the number one suspect and also became more and more closed to Rachel, for he needed a shelter to escape from the police and journalist and she also always wanted to help and get involved. Many times Rachel was caught that she kept appearing around Scott's house which was near to Tom and Anna's and that made Anna pissed. At the same time Rachel made an appointment to Kamel, the therapist of Magen, trying to dig out something to prove the feeling that Kamel might be the killer was right, but only to find that he was so warm and she could't help but trusting him and opening her mind telling him her deepest feelings.
The more I read, the vaguer the killer becomes. Originally, I think Kamel is the killer. However, when he says no to Magen for work ethics and from his interaction with Rachel, I believe he is a good guy(maybe in disguise). Besides, Magen messes up the relationships with Scott. She shouldn't have had sex with him. It's unbelievable. Reading to this, I find the three major women in this book, Rachel, Megan, Anna, are not normal at all. Rachel is an alcoholic who likes to lie and get involved in none-of-her-business businesses and help the one even to the bed. Megan is a woman who always likes to seek excitement and is needed to be loved and cared to a morbid state. Anna is a mother who has paranoid delusion disorder, always being alert to Rachel's appearance and also a shameful peacock feeling guilt-free to intervene in others' marriage.
Basically I enjoy reading this book. The negative evaluations on the Internet are not always true. I like to read every time Rachel striving to help but using the wrong method so that she gets herself into troubles and becomes notorious. At the same time I know for sure that drinking excessively can really ruin one's life. While reading, I kept thinking about how can people be so different mentally. Why can't people always be nice to others? Why people always fail to control their desires? Why people always like to venture, instead of enjoying the peaceful and lovely life?
