The book                               The movie

    Paper Towns was the number one New York Times bestseller, which was one of the reasons why I chose this book. It had been made into a movie last year, starring Cara Delevigne, who also played Enchantress in Suicide Squad. 

    When I was in High school, my friend read this book and was obsessed with it. When I saw this book in the school library, I knew this was my chance to read it. I am now fifty pages in, and I'd say I would like to continue reading it.

     The whole book was in the point of view of Quentin, a teenage boy. The book started of talking about his childhood with his neighbor, Margo. They were playing at the park, and Margo found a dead body. Because Margo loves mysteries, she did a little investigation of the man. However, they did't found out why he died. The story fast forward to them being in high school, and they fell apart and weren't friends anymore. I guess this part I can relate. I have a lot of childhood friends that disappeared because we got busy so we drove apart from each other. Anyway, same thing happen to them. Quentin still admired Margo from a distance though. He always liked her and thought that she's amazing. One night, out of the blue, Margo knocked on Quentin's bedroom window and asked for a favor. She wanted him to give her a ride to various spots so that she could conduct her "plan".

    That's pretty much all I've read so far. Starting a book is always very exciting. I hope that this book comes up to my expectations. Also, I have yet to see the movie, so please don't spoil it or I WILL HATE YOU.
