My reading history

Being a reader means one must have read a certain amount of books. I do consider myself a reader since I have read quite a lot of books either in Mandarin or English. But after all, I read more Mandarin books compare to English books. So personally, I consider myself a Mandarin reader than an English reader.

I started to read Mandarin books since I was in kindergarten and English in middle school. The reason why I started to read English books in middle school is because that's the time when I transfer and study in Thailand. Due to my dad's job, my family and I move to live in Thailand while I was 12 years old. My parent they send me to a local international school to continue my education, and that's how I get in touch with English.

Sooner or later, I found out that I love reading fiction stories, especially one that involves romance. So I started to read more and more books as I grew older. The first series of books I have read were Harry Potter. It's the very first book series I finished. I think it was when I'm still in elementary school. This series of books is full of magic and mystery. It makes me want to go on and on every time. And I think this is how I became a reader.
