My Reading History

My Reading History

I consider myself as a reader and I read mostly Chinese books. To develop the habit of reading in my childhood, my mother had taken me to the library as soon as she was free at night. Gradually, reading becomes the important part in my life. Sometimes, I would spend half of a day reading at the library on the weekends. I mostly read novels which were written for twelve to sixteen-year-old teenagers when I was in the junior high school.

Recalling my reading history, one of the most impressive stories was that The Death of a Bookworm. In Chinese, it calls書蟲的少年時代. It was this book that really inspired me to have the motivation to study during the senior high. The story was described the boy who was influenced by the girl to have the motivation to study. I enjoy the book such as inspirational one because I can obtain a lot of positive thinking from them. The more positive thinking I gain, the more energy I would have in my life.

For now, I still read books but I don’t have much time as before. Therefore, I only read books in my leisure time. In order to have the spare time to read, I will try to do the best on the time management. Finally, I want to thank for my mother. It was my mother that I could step into the book world to explore many thing that I haven't known before.
