Things to do on 9/19

Dear all,

I am terribly sorry for the mistakes shown in my last post. Warned by my assistant, I have corrected them. Well, this might be a good lesson for us all, to check before submitting our works, since we have all become the audience, in addition to being the writers on this blog. Two reasons for the funny mistakes:  1. I am aging with bad vision (very good excuse that you can't use, ha!); 2. I must have been multi-tasking, which is a bad doing. We'll be reading an essay telling what research has found about multitasking someday.

For tomorrow, we'll be doing the following:
1. Please show me the books you have picked, and read for the first 10 minutes silently.
2. I'll talk about a reading condition, flow, and tell what's going on when we are truly reading.
3. We'll do a survey questionnaire and help you understand how to evaluate your own reading condition.

Then, remember the short clip of interview on Focus, and the essay from Business Insider on presentation? We can have some good discussion about these two different issues.

***I have not been done introducing our class conducts, e.g. What to do with our individual presentation, and Group project may come first before Individual Study. We'll do more introduction tomorrow.

Finally, we will pay a visit to my reading lab where nearly 800 books were stored for you to enjoy. Some rules are enacted for us to maintain the lab and will be explained in detail.

Have a good night sleep!

ps. Please add one more label after your name, "My Reading History." When you type letter M, the rest will pop out and you just click that to be consistent.
