The 5 toughest places to be a girl
In this article, the author demonstrates the five countries that perform badly on gender equality. From the fifth place, these countries are Iran, Chad, Syria, Pakistan, and Yemen. When it comes to girls’ education, the rate for girls to enroll in school in Iran is 83%, which is not a bad score. Except for Iran, other four countries face the same problem of low-rate of enrollment for girls regardless of the reason. As for the reasons, it is sure that there should be political or economical factors. Why does this problem matter? From humane perspective, everyone should have the same right to live a life. Furthermore, from economical perspective, the problem of low-rate enrollment for girls can affect the whole nation.

The reason why the whole world treats girls so unfairly is that girls and women are viewed as less-productive and less-contributing people in the past. Thus, people won’t put much resource on girls and women based on the concept of cost down. Though girls and boys are born to be different with body structure, which will cause less productivity of agriculture, it doesn’t mean that boys are born to superior. In other words, even though girls cannot contribute a lot to agriculture, it doesn’t mean that girls will have contribution on the whole society. I realize that it’s difficult to totally change people’s mind and perspective in a short time, but if we start facing this problem by ourselves, there will be something different.
