This week I continue reading articles and stories related to animals right, and to these days I've somehow doubted that whether animals can feel the way we feel or we just personify them. However, after reading a post from Yousheng's Facebook, I confirmed that I was right-- the animals do have feelings. In his post, he mentioned he and his wife were taking wedding photos in Nepal, where has plenty of elephants. The residents in Nepal rely on elephants to help them transport and to carry things, so Yousheng decided to do the Nepalese do, riding on the elephant's back and taking wedding photos. However, after shooting, he found elephant was in tears. Then he realized that the elephant was so smart that he knew he was pathetically under control, but he chose to be tamed and silent, for he knew his life was bestowed by human. After reading this, I strongly oppose we human beings keep elephants or any other animals for entertainment or even force them and abuse them in order to make a fortune. Therefore, we should stop going to circus and other performances that may have animals involved.
