Although we all know that sea level rising is unavoidable, how we know if sea level rises our country will looks like. NASA is working on conjunction with the US Geological Survey and several universities to track the movement of glaciers and ice sheets and show how fast they are melting. By analyzing satellite data, NASA’s Global Land Ice Velocity Extraction project is able to provide a “near-real-time view of every large glacier and ice sheet on Earth.” The data will enable researchers to understand what effect atmosphere, ocean conditions have on ice sheets and how the changes how much ice is flowing into the ocean.

+As technology develops, it seems that we can predict all natural disasters, excluding of earthquake. We know how to reduce the damages of natural disasters but prevention is better than cure. If we don’t do something to stop global warming to become worse, the climate changing will become more sever. I think that the easiest step we can do is starting to touch much information which is about climate changing. As a result, we can keep an eye on warming condition, and events might lead to a rapid change. Learning of more knowledge, we have more methods to deal with this human beings’ big issues.
